Quick Guide for Applicants – Instructions for Submitting Your Initiative 

  1.  Begin the application process for Humanizing Health by clicking on [this link] (hyperlink this text to the HH page on GrantsConnect)

Create a User Account 

  1. On the first Sign-In page in GrantsConnect, enter your email and click “Sign In”. 

  2. You will be prompted to convert your account to a Blackbaud ID. Select “Continue”.

  3. On the Blackbaud Sign Up page, enter your email address, password, and name. Click “Sign Up” to create your Blackbaud ID account.

  4. Alternatively, you can sign in through Google or Apple. Please note that the email address used for these options must match the one used for your current GrantsConnect account. 

  5. A confirmation code will be emailed to you to confirm your identity. Copy the code that appears in that email to “Verify your email address” (sent by Blackbaud <noreply@blackbaud.com>) and enter the code in the field on the “Confirm Your Account” page. 

  6. Click Next to return to GrantsConnect. 

  7. You will be automatically logged in to the GrantsConnect portal. This may take a moment to refresh. 

  8. If you have questions during the application process, you can click on the “Help” (question mark) icon at any time for more information and guidance. 

Select or Create Your Organization

  1. You can search for your organization in the database by entering your organization’s name or registration ID number. You can also choose your country, and then your state, province or region (as relevant), to narrow the search. 

  2. When you see your organization name appear in the list, click on it.

  3. If you search and do not find your organization in the database, a new line will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen: “Don’t see the organization?” Click on +Add organization 

  4. A new screen will then appear to allow you to “Add Organization” to the database. Add your country, and your government tax identification number to begin this step. 

  5. Follow the instructions and provide additional details about your organization to complete this process. 

  6. Click Next to confirm adding the organization and continue to the application. 

Submit Your Application to the Humanizing Health Program

  1. You should now see the Humanizing Health Awards Program Application Form

  2. Complete all of the form questions about your organization and the initiative that you are submitting. Questions marked with * are mandatory. 

  3. Please note that when uploading documents/attachments, the maximum file size is 29 MB. We cannot accept files of larger sizes. You may upload multiple files. 

  4. If you are submitting video files, we strongly recommend that you first upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo (you can create a free account on these channels, and you can upload your video as “private” or “unlisted” so it will not be publicly viewable, if needed). After uploading to one of these channels, you can copy and paste the video link to this application form. 

  5. Be sure to read and accept all conditions of the program by checking relevant boxes. Make sure all required attachments have been uploaded. 

  6. If you want to save a copy of the form, click on the “Download” link at the top right of the form page. 

  7. When you are finished, click on “Sign and Submit
